Food Review: Good Cravings Ph

All About Proudly Pinoy Products

They say, "The way to a man's heart is through his stomach." This saying doesn't only refer to the men as in gentlemen, but to humans, as in men and women, as in everybody. I mean, who doesn't love eating? Family gatherings, celebrations, parties, meetings - all of these, in one way or another, involved food. So what could be a better Holiday present to our loved ones? Yes, you've got it right! Food!

However, I understand that not all of us have the time and maybe the talent to cook, bake or prepare a dish or a pastry for a present. Well, worry no more, this is when All About Proudly Pinoy Products come in. Make your own Christmas or Holiday basket using the various food in a jar, gourmet in a jar and food in a pouch of All About Proudly Pinoy Products. They have a long list of Pinoy food products which everyone knows and loves.

Fortunately, I had the chance to taste some of their bestsellers. Gourmet tuyo and gourmet sardines were both delicious with steamed or fried rice. For my next purchase, I would like to try both bottled gourmet with pasta. We paired both yema spread and crunchy peanut butter with hot pandesal in the morning. My girls (and I) personally loved the yema spread. It's just like eating yema candy. In fact, there were times that we ate the spread alone and didn't pair it with any bread (LOL). It's a good dessert too! Crunchy peanut butter was not our ordinary peanut butter, it has real peanut bits which made it even more delicious. What we have enjoyed most was the crispy mushroom. It was like eating flavored chips without the guilt because we were actually eating mushrooms which are filled with nutrients. My kids didn't even notice that they were eating mushrooms, because if they did, they would probably stop eating. If you love crispy chicharon, you'll definitely love crispy mushrooms without the bad cholesterol. :)

People's Champ-O-Rado

When I think about happy food, one thing that comes first into my mind is of course, chocolate! A good food on this almost cold holiday weather is champorado. My whole family loves champorado, we eat it at least once a week. What makes a good champorado? Of course, chocolate! So can you ever imagine champorado without chocolate? The next question is, is that even possible? The answer is yes with People's Champ-O-Rado! The only cocoa-free champorado I have ever tasted. Product Review: Kimochi Aroma Pillows

When I first saw Kimochi Aroma Pillows on Instagram, I was thinking of the head pillows we use for sleeping with just a scent on it. Of course, now I know I was totally wrong. Kimochi Aroma Pillows are not use for sleeping but they are more useful than I thought. The first thing I have noticed when I received the pouch with these pillows is the scent. The scent alone is so relaxing, spa-like-scent - this alone made me excited to use the pillows.

Kimochi Aroma Pillows are herbal pillows. They are made of organic and all natural ingredients making them 100% safe and effective. They can be used hot or cold. Pop it inside the microwave or steam it, then use for hot compress to relieve back pain, stiffed neck, carpal tunnel syndrome, etc. Or, freeze it for cold compress to skin inflammation and bruises.

Kimochi Aroma Pillow have four sizes. The 3 Cut Wrap Around (Size: 6x17.5 inches, Php 530.00), suitable for the back, shoulders and other large areas where there is discomfort. Next, is the Medium Type (Size: 6x8 inches, Php 330.00), can be easily hand held on the neck, joints, ankles, etc. The Wrist and Eye Pillow (Size: 3x7.5 inches, Php 140.00), best to be used on wrists and eyes, of course. The last but not the least, the Hand Warmer (Size: 3x4 inches, Php 80.00), suits hands perfectly.

I now regularly use the 3 Cut Wrap Around on my back to relieve me from back pain caused by long hours of computer works. It works like a charm. I can feel the heat passed through my back which makes the pain go away. There was also this one time when I had a really sharp pain on my wrist due to typing on my laptop for hours. The Wrist and Eye pillow rescued me from the pain. I am very thankful for these pillows because they work really well.

Aside from me, I asked three other people to use Kimochi Aroma Pillows and asked them what they felt after using them. One of them is my husband who always complain about his back strain due to prolong standing, he's a trainer, by the way. I laid the hot 3 Cut Wrap Around flat on his spine and he felt the relief just minutes after. He also added that even after the pillow was removed, he can still feel the heat working on his back. Really amazing!

My husband enjoying the benefit of the "hot" 3 Cut Wrap Around on his back.

I personally delivered the Medium Type pillow to my friend Rose and asked her to give it a try. She has severe neck and back pain. Here's what she has to say after using the pillow. “Have a neck problem and a continuous headache, used the product and it relieved the pain for a few hours. When pain is unbearable, i take the pillow out and pop it in the microwave to use. Very convenient to use and very relaxing. Also love the scent!” In fact she plans to purchase more pillows. Yay!

Nowadays, with the cold weather during the night, my kids' yaya couldn't help but complain about her rheumatism. I asked her to give the Hand Warmer pillow a try. She said it gave her a faster relief than her medicine. She's using it regularly now.

For me, Kimochi Aroma Pillows should be present in every home because in reality, moms and dads and most people working can't go to a spa regularly for a whole body massage. These pillows come in handy, just microwave/steam or freeze depending on your situation and voila, instant relief and relaxation! It might save you a lot of money, too because they are reusable.

Click here: Kimochi Aroma, to visit their official site and to know more about their other products. They are also available in physical stores if you happen to be in the Metro, Make Room BGC and Rockwell and Hey Kessy Stores in UP Town Center Katipunan and Alabang Town Center.

Thank you so much Kimochi Aroma for giving me the chance to try your products and share its goodness to my loved ones too.

Finally, Blogging Again!

First of all, I would like to apologize for not updating this blog for more than a month now. I apologize to all my readers and to all my sponsors with whom I have pending product reviews. Rest assured that I am still going to post my reviews in the next few days, thank you for bearing with me and for your patience.

October is one hell of a month for me and my family. Our helper had to leave for a while. We just had her back last July. She didn't take a single day-off so I totally understand her two weeks vacation. However, I wasn't prepared for all the exhaustion that I had to bear, again, without her. Having a helper had saved me some precious time for errands, for my homebased job, for a walk in the park with my kids altogether and most importantly for NAPS and DATES. When she was gone, I had to juggle my time again for my kids, the household chores, my homebased job, my husband and yeah, no more naps and goodbye dates. Then, a really unfortunate incident had happened...

One early morning when my husband was on his way home, he was robbed and beaten. Thank God he managed to escaped and got home but with bruises and a little blood all over him. Not wanting to get into details, the most important thing is that he's alive and he's OK now.

Our helper is back but two days from now, it's Kiera's 7th birthday. I hired an event coordinator to take care of everything, but then again, the small details matter, they have been keeping me on my feet or actually, keeping running for the past few days. Not to mention the small event which my mommy squad had put together for our small mommy community in Pampanga, you can read about it here while I draft my own insight about it: PCM Family Day and Mompreneurs' Fair.

Before I end this quite long explanation, I would like to share with you that I have bought two books which I am so excited to read and share with everyone. The first one is The Messy Grace of Parenting by Laura Kelly Fanucci and the second one is 6 Sacred Rules for Families by Tim and Sue Muldoon. I intend to read them, of course, but unfortunately, I haven't got the time to do so. I will hopefully in December.

Lastly, I am planning to migrate my whole blogging thing into a Facebook page. It's still a plan though, I'll let you know when it's all set up. But I would like to communicate with everyone more, to show you a glimpse of my beautiful family on a daily basis, and I think a Facebook page is a great fit for this vision. Also, a great camera phone should come in handy, I still don't have it as of this writing, but hopefully soon. Any suggestions? 2018 can be a great way to start this plan, who knows? For now, here's my latest favorite family picture which I want to share to all:
